That's one beautiful and calm picture; I think Terry Pratchett would really like to have such a nice little talk with Death in front of the Reaper's house. Well, I guess he is anywhere out there... only we won't read any more books of him. Sad enough. May he go to further adventures.

We need to be able to buy this as a print or a tee or something - is that possible? Sorry not that familiar with Deviant art yet.

I'm not familiar with the print system and all that either XDDDD. To be honest, I wouldn't feel comfortable making a profit out of people's grief; so instead I choose to offer the original file to dowload,  so all his fans can have it for free. Its a large res file, enough to print it as poster, in a tee or whatever. If you go ahead and print it on something I'd love to see the result ^^!

Beautifully haunting tribute for an incredibly talented man. It is something truly special, you should be so proud of it - I know the man himself would be if he could see this.  Clap Bravo.

Few can understand the value of something til it's gone, though I'm sure he is happy knowing how many of us he touched with his work. And this art show both the love that some felt for him but his love for his work.

I absolutely love the image especially the perfect touch of the blue of eternity/infinity in DEATH's eyes, exactly as it should be, with one nagging issue.  DEATH never got swings right, it should be built with the ropes on limbs on opposite side of the trunk, with the middle section of the trunk missing for the swing to move through, the top part of the tree just hanging in air. As it was described in the books for the swing he built for his grand-daughter Susan.  I understand that this would be a different swing, but for me it would be the perfect touch as DEATH never got the human things quite right.

I just heard the sad news.
A titan of literature has passed on.
The world just became a a little less bright, a little less silly, a little less thoughtful.
In short, the world has become a little less without him in it.
Still, I'm heartened to know that one of my all time favorite authors will live on in the hearts of his fans, and Discworld, his most splendid creation, shall always occupy a space on my shelf.
Rest in peace Sir Pratchett.
Thank you for bringing a bit of color to my world, and may you bring a bit of color to Death's world too.
